Not really! Most clients say the process is pretty manageable. We use a numbing cream to keep you as comfortable as possible, so you might just feel a bit of scratching or mild discomfort. If you’re worried, don’t be—we’ll make sure you’re at ease every step of the way!
Preparing for your Li-FT removal appointment is simple! Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood-thinning medications like aspirin or ibuprofen for at least 24 hours before your session. Keep the area clean and free of makeup or skincare products on the day of your appointment. If you’ve had a recent PMU or microblading procedure, wait at least 6-8 weeks before starting removal. Staying hydrated and getting a good night’s sleep beforehand will also help ensure you’re ready for the process. We’ll handle the rest!
There’s minimal downtime with Li-FT removal! After the procedure, you might notice some redness, swelling, or light scabbing in the treated area, which is completely normal. These will heal within 7-10 days. During this time, it’s important to follow aftercare instructions and avoid picking at the area to ensure proper healing. You can go about your daily routine, but just be mindful of keeping the area clean and protected.
It’s safe to schedule another Li-FT removal treatment after 6-8 weeks. This waiting period allows your skin to fully heal and ensures the best results for each session. Rushing the process can lead to irritation or incomplete healing, so patience is key! We’ll guide you on the ideal timing based on your progress and skin’s response.
